Falling Leaves @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and she's going with a very timely, "Falling Leaves" theme, which means she wants to see projects all about fall. Very fitting!

Now, every time I think of summer sliding into autumn this always comes to mind.....

.....bwahahahahaha!  Cracks me up every time.

Now, I'm afraid that's the only leaf you'll see here today.  Coz, while I did make a very fall card....

.....it just occurred to me that there were no leaves involved.  Buuuuuuuuut, since Kate said it just needed to be a fall themed card, and didn't really specify it needed to include leaves (yes, there's the whole title thing but we're just going to ignore that) I'm gonna just go with it.  *jumps up from computer and scrambles away before any Huh. So This Is a Blog logic doubters show up*

Why not give our challenge a go this week and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up?  And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

  6. Oh, that ad was hilarious!!! I think your card is great and I follow your logic. It is after all FALL-ing Leaves, right? There's FALL in there and what is more FALL than an acorn (both literally and figuratively)? I really like the look of this beauty; all the elements work so well together. I especially like the paper the acorn is stamped on. How did you do that? Is is distressed ink? Whatever it is it's fantastic against the wood plank pattern. Bravo, Jan!

Okay, so ever since I started my blog (well, maybe not right from the get-go, it was probably a good six months or so before I realized you could change it from just "Leave your comment") I've tried to come up with something witty to type here.

*sitting with brow furrowed in concentration*...*staring at the ceiling while pursing lips*...*resting with head on hand while tapping foot*...

Nope, I still got nothing.
