P is for Pink! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Imke's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "P is for Pink!" which means she wants to see pink on those projects.

This is what I did....

Can't claim credit for that sentiment, one of my sub-babies asked me to make a birthday card for her friend that incorporated an olive and a Google search found me this pun (which has gotta be up there in at least the top 5 for birthday puns).  A very old digi from C.C Designs was the perfect pairing.

Why not give our challenge a go this week and join us?  And, if you'd like more inspiration, be sure to check out what the Girlfriends have made.

A Is For Anything Goes! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Imke's turn to choose the challenge and she's going with an alphabet theme for her challenges and she's starting off with "A Is For Anything Goes!".  No excuse not to join us this week!

This is what I did.....

I made a card to send to a friend and fellow crafter, Shani from Paperesse, who lives in France....which is why the sentiment is in French.  If you would like to know more about the sentiment, and holiday cards in France, pop on over to this post on Shani's blog.

Digi is a Meople from C.C. Designs from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day when they offered a few of their stamps as digis.  I would love it if they still did that, they have such cute images.  I wasn't sure how to colour this lil champagne swimmer's mouth though.  When I'm stumped about something like that, I usually turn to The Google so I can see what other crafters have done.  Wasn't able to do that in this case as the either the stamp set is too old, or wasn't very popular (which is a shame!) because I couldn't find anything.  And that's after fighting with The Google because it kept asking me do you mean people.  In the end, I just left it uncoloured.

Why not give our challenge a go this week and join us?  And, if you'd like more inspiration, be sure to check out what the Girlfriends have made.

Happy Birthday @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Mandy's turn to choose the challenge and she's going really, really easy on you. She wants to see those birthday projects!

This is what I did.....

I must admit, I did pat myself on the back for coming up with this idea.  Digi is from a Celebrate set from C.C. Designs that I had purchased...just let me check....huh, about four years ago.  (They've revamped since so I don't think it's available anymore.)  So, this little lady has a friend she's actually supposed to be partnered with....and he's holding the numbers 2 and 1.  Like a New Year's countdown, see?  But, seeing as the friend I made the card for was celebrating her 43rd birthday, this image worked perfectly.  Yep, every now and then I can actually come up with something mildly clever....much to my utter surprise.

You know you could use a birthday card/project at some point so, why not head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up?  And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.
