There's a new release at Tiddly Inks today, and it's going to the dogs. Not in the turn of phrase way, but literally! There's four new images available - yippee! Clicky here to see 'em.
This is what I did with two of the newbies.....
Using Spooky Pup
and using Super Pup
I left the inside of this one blank for the time being. I'm thinking I could put pretty much anything in there from "Happy Birthday" to "You're Super" to "Eat your vegetables!" I know that last one might be doomed to fail....but I dunno, Super Pup is pretty cute, so you never know.
Be sure to drop by the blog and see what the DT did. All their samples are just wuffly!

Make It Sparkle @ Tiddly Inks
For the next two weeks at
we're getting our bling on. That's right, we want to see your sparkly creations!
This is what I did.....
I pulled out the major sparkly stops for this one. Of course, as you all know, sparkly projects are extremely shy when it comes to being photographed. I mean really, how often have you said in a blog post something along the lines of, "It's really sparkly in real life, honest!" Well, that's with this one too.
First I coloured up and paper pieced Wryn with a Cherry on Top. Then for the icing, I used some modeling paste and sprinkled coarse glitter over top. That pink diagonal strip is Scor-Tape with ulta-fine glitter stuck to it. There's Stickles on the cherry and her barrette and there's a couple of blingy pieces too. It's really sparkly in real life, honest!
Why not pull out your glitter, Stickles and all things sparkly and then head on over to Tiddly Inks to enter the challenge? And be sure to also check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.
Also for:
The Pink Elephant: anything goes
Ooh-La-La: use a bow
{Pin}spirational: anything could happen
The Squirrel & the Fox: happy birthday
C.R.A.F.T. Challenges: use metal - 3 brads and that flourish piece is metal
In the Pink: sparkle & bling + lots of pink
Divas By Design: pretty in glitter
The Sisterhood of Crafters: lots of layers
Allsorts: a stitch up
Di's Digi Designs: girly
Crafty Catz: birthday celebration
Simply Create Too: special occasion

Fabby Friday @ Tiddly Inks
Friday again, yay! Time for another Tiddly Inks creation.....
I don't know why those black Thickers photographed so dark and shadowy. I tried a number of different times to get a good picture but they just kept looking like that. I dunno, maybe they're going through a goth phase or something.
Anyhoo, I used Wryn and Mo - Love You Most. Hey, did you know you can get this fab image as part of a set of four for only $10.00? That's only $2.50 a digi - score!
So, head on over to the challenge blog and see the Fabby Friday eye candy my fellow DT Members have for you to see. And, you still have time to enter the Fairy Fun challenge so why not give that a go too?
Also for:
Craft for the Craic: something with circles on it
Divas By Design: pretty in glitter
The Sisterhood of Crafters: lots of layers (8!)
613 Avenue Create: anything goes
Glitter 'n' Sparkle: must use pink
Incy Wincy: anything goes
Pinky Dolls: make it girly
Whoopsie Daisy: bling and/or pearls
Inky Chicks: anything goes
Papertake Weekly: oh how cute
Top Tip Tuesday: kids
Craft-Room: forest friends
4 Crafty Chicks: a trio of pairs - 2 pearls, 2 words, 2 circles
As You Like It: fave digi stamp - Tiddly Inks is my favourite digi stamp company and Wryn is my favourite character because she's super cute and a dream to colour!

Fall @ Little Red Wagon
This week at
it's Carolyn's turn to host and she wants to see your cards about fall. You know, that thing that happens when you accidentally trip over something, or if you lose your balance......wait.....what? Not that kind of fall? The season....oh, autumn! Right! (tee hee I was teasing Carolyn about this. I really, really should have made a card about the physical act of falling rather than the season. But, alas, I didn't.)
What I did make was a card with a new Mo Manning image and some scrumptious fall papers.....
This was take two for this card. The first time I got the stamp all coloured up and then totally messed up when die cutting it out. D'oh! I might have said a nasty word (or two or three. Actually, I think I strung a number of censor-worthy words together to make a sentence or two. Yep, I've got a potty mouth when the situation suits.) But, in the end it was all okay as I changed the colours slightly and I like this version better anyhow.
And really, when you look at this, she almost looks like she could topple over. I know if I tried to bend backwards like that I think I'd just keep right on going and going until I was flat on my back.
But hopefully there would be a nice pile of raked leaves to cushion my fall. There. I guess I did make it about fall in every sense of the word.
You're probably getting into the fall spirit this time of year (unless you're in the Southern Hemisphere, of course) so why not make an autumny make and then you can head on over to Little Red Wagon and enter the challenge? And be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have done.

Puns, Puns, Glorious Puns
I love 'em. They crack me up EVERY TIME. Yes, I realize that they do rank only slight higher than potty jokes on the humour scale and, to someone like me, who actively tries to be funny almost all the time, they should probably be used only as a last resort.
But, I don't care. Puns and word plays tickle me. Just last week I was called "the Queen of The Pun" and it's a title I'll wear happily (along with the crown I'm having made). In truth, whenever I'm thinking up a non-standard sentiment for any card my mind just goes there. Like, automatically.
Case in point. I was invited to play along with Catered Crop this week as one of the Guest Chefs. And, the challenge this week is "Good Medicine" which just means that Linda wants to see your get well cards and creations. I was humming and hawing (Sidebar: I do know that "hemming and hawing" is more right than "humming and hawing" but since I can't hem anything, but I can hum as well as the next person, I always go with "humming". We try our best to be factual here at Huh. So This Is A Blog.) a bit with this one.....I generally don't make cards in this theme. But, then I was taking a look through my digi stamps, and inspiration hit.
Along with a pun, of course.
Digi is from By Lori Designs.
After I had it all done I got to thinking that maybe I should have just done a two layer card. And since I pretty much had that all already designed I went ahead and did another version of it, this time more masculine.
Does anyone else sometimes feel like make cas cards or, as in the case of the second card, scas (first "s" stands for "super") cards is cheating? Hey, I know as much as the next person that cas cards can sometimes take as long as multi-layered and mucho embellished creations. And I totally love and admire cas cards (actually cards I Pin are usually cas) but when I do them I sometimes feel like I should feel guilty about them. Like I didn't put the full effort in or something. Anyhoo, there's a good chance that's just me......
So, there you have it. Hope all this was punny enough to make you smile. :-)

Shaped Cards @ Little Red Wagon
This week at
it's my turn to set the challenge and I wanna see some different shapes! So no conventional square and rectangle cards this week.
This is what I did......
Now, since I'm a lefty, I'm going to pretend that I also made this a "left-handed" card and I didn't just mess up the design so the fold was on the right (or, not right I guess you could say) side. Still, not square or rectangle so it's all good.
So, why not step outside of the box (ha!) and make something shapely? Then you can head on over to Little Red Wagon and enter the challenge. And be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have done.

Fairy Fun @ Tiddly Inks
For the next two weeks at
there's lots of fun going on. Fairy Fun, to be exact! In case you haven't guessed it by now, the challenge this go 'round is to use a Tiddly Inks fairy on your project.
There's lots of fairies to choose from too. In fact, there's some almost brand new fairies, as well as all the old favourites. There's even some $1.00 digi fairies - what a bargain! Visit the Fairies (and Buggs) section if you wanna see 'em all.
This is the fairy fun I created.....
I used Bugs and Kisses, which has some really cute extras that I didn't use here, and I also used Type Me Some Flowery Wishes, which also includes a typewritter, which I also didn't include on this card. (Most "which"es and "also"s I've ever used in one sentence ever.)
I also (accidentally) used some super-incredibly sloppy sewing instead of my regular sloppy sewing. I don't know why I always feel I need to point out something that's a bit wrong with my creations. Probably a lot of you wouldn't have even noticed the extra sloppiness if I didn't point it out, so why bring attention to it? I dunno.....it's like if I know that you know that I know it's really messy this time, then it makes it okay, kwim? Anyways, moving on.......
Why not have some fun with fairies and then head on over to Tiddly Inks to enter the challenge? And be sure to also check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.

Fabby Friday @ Tiddly Inks
Happy Friday, all! Ah, Fridays. Aren't they grand? (Though I have to admit, I prefer Thursdays because they're usually my day off, but Fridays are cool too.) Fridays are a lot more grander for me lately as I get to show you my make for Fabby Fridays at Tiddly Inks.
And this is it......
I was asked by a friend to make a card for a wedding she was attending. Which was awesome, I'd never had anyone (besides my mother) make that request of me. I know it's not exactly your traditional wedding card but I used the invitation colours and hair colours of the bride and groom, and my friend was pleased with it, so - yay! I used Shine Bright - Flapper Couple, which I think is a totally cool, and totally versatile digi. Sentiment was a freebie from TLC Creations.
So, head on over to the challenge blog and see the Fabby Friday eye candy my fellow DT Members have for you to see. And, you still have time to enter the "Pop of Colour" challenge so why not give that a go too?
For:
Catered Crop: everything old is new again - heart punch
Glitter 'n' Sparkle: use a digi
Pile It On: pencils - Coloured with Prismacolor pencils.
Ribbon Girls: anything goes with ribbon
Inky Chicks: stitching
Oldie But a Goodie: stitching
2 Cute Ink: anything goes
Divas By Design: anything goes
Penny's: stitching
Addicted To Stamps: make your mark - I used pencils on textured cardstock.

Just 'Cause
Hey all, it's been awhile since I've done a non-DT post, eh? Not that I'm complaining. I have been crafting, (playing like crazy with Tiddly Inks stamps - squeal! I just love 'em) I've just been saving it all for upcoming DT duties. (Anyone else have Friends flashbacks when they hear the word "duties"? Or am I just that immature?)
Speaking of Tiddly Inks......are you a member of the Facebook Group? If not, you so should be. 'Cause if you are, you get to score cool freebies like this one.....
Guess what I coloured the flower with? Nope, not my trusty Prismacolors......I used Gelatos! Poor unloved, barely used, chapsticky-like things. I really don't give them enough credit.
I also used some white mist (which I got a little too misty with.....that always happens....me saying, "Just tap the pump, just tap the pump" and I push down to hard and get too much spray) and some Smooch! Pulling out all the crafty-supplies-I-just-had-to-have-but-barely-use for this one. Its also got some Crystal Stickles on there too. (A much loved and often used supply in my crafty arsenal.)
Here's a close up of the shimmer and sparkle. I know the photo is blurry but it seemed to be the only way I could show it.
A nice messy change from my usual neat and tidy creations.
For:
Divas By Design: anything goes

Incy Wincy: all things girly
Eclectic Ellapu: lady's birthday
Glitter 'n' Sparkle: use a digi
Through the Purple Haze: clear & bright (Not sure if this qualifies for that or not.......)

Cork It! @ Little Red Wagon
This week at
Joanne wants you to Cork It! Don't worry, she's not being rude, she just wants to see cork on your projects.
Now, I have to admit I'm not setting the best DT example this week. But I hope the card's quirkiness makes up for its lack of corkiness.
And here it is......
As you can see I cut out the island and layered some cork behind it. Digis are Shh-Hark from Tiddly Inks. Lots of cool extras are included with this one!
So, why not add some cork to your project then you can head on over to Little Red Wagon and enter the challenge. And be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have done.

Back To School @ Little Red Wagon
This week at
the challenge is "Back to School" which means we want to see a card or gift relating tothe most wonderful time of the year the fact that school was back in yesterday. (At least it was the first day back around here.)
This is what I did......
I used two digis from Tiddly Inks. One is School House and the other one is Teacher Helper.
So, why not create something and then head on over to Little Red Wagon and enter the challenge? And be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have done.

Poppy Colour Challenge @ Tiddly Inks
For the next two weeks at
we have a fabulous colour challenge for you. And here are the colours......
Aren't they lovely? This is what I did with them.....
I used Wryn - Skater Girl and just did a general computer generated sentiment. Figured I could add an inner sentiment that'll fit the occasion like, "Happy Birthday" or "to say thanks" or what I'd really like to add which is "Whasssssssssssssssssssssssup?" but I figure that since this will end up being used as a birthday card for my nine year old daughter to give to someone, the humour might be lost on them.
Why not let these colours inspire you and head on over to Tiddly Inks to enter the challenge? And be sure to check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.
Also for:
Digi Sketch: it's a girl thing
Just Us Girls: card that is not 4.25 x 5.5 - This is 5 x 5

Why not let these colours inspire you and head on over to Tiddly Inks to enter the challenge? And be sure to check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.
