All Things Christmas! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Heather's turn to choose the challenge and she's going super duper duper super easy on you all and she's saying "All Things Christmas!" I'll bet you've got something you've made that would be perfect for our challenge!

Annnnnddddddd, seeing as it's our last challenge of the year, we've got a prize for one lucky winner! The entry chosen by whatever random number generator I pick (and I can't promise it won't be me yelling "Hey! Pick a number between 1 & ______!" into the air hoping one of my kids is in earshot) will get a $15 gift certificate from Tiddly Inks - yay!

This is what I did.....

I figured I'd use a Tiddly Inks image seeing as Christy was so kind as to donate a gift certificate.  This one's called Cocoa Wishes.  If you're interested in seeing some more examples of Tiddly Inks images, feel free to take a gander through my blog.  Or you could click on the label Tiddly Inks....oh wait, someone was dumb when  they started this blog and didn't label any of the posts.  Though, really, I haven't had time to do any crafting 'cept for my DT posts for Tiddly Inks and LRW in the past couple of years so it wouldn't take much scrolling to see more with TI images.  Or you could just go to the Tiddly Inks shop and check out the images and samples there.

This is one of my fave Tiddly digis.  I think it's so super sweet.  I sent this to a friend of mine who lives in France (and I do hope she's received it so this doesn't ruin the surprise!) so I just added a simple Noel die cut from fun foam.  I do so love fun foam for word dies.

Why not give our challenge a go this week and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up?  And, while you're there, be sure to check out the fantastic projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Well, my friends, Little Red Wagon is taking next week off so I won't be seeing you again until January 2nd.  Season's Greetings to all my wonderful Readers, I hope your holiday is filled with laughter & love.

Not Just Black & White @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Imke's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Not Just Black & White" which means she wants to see not only black & white but another colour as well.

I normally have difficulty with colour challenges but I guess, technically, this isn't one. After all, black and white aren't reaaaallly colours OR black & white reaaaallly are colours depending on who you ask. And, the fact that I could choose ANY colour to go with them, made it not as constricting as most colour challenges. So, just to throw in more of challenge, I decided to make a not-square/rectangle card.....

Used up some scraps, sparkly felt, glitter fun foam and dies from Paper Smooches.  And that's, pretty much, that.

Why not give our challenge a go this week and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up?  And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Let's Be Merry @ Tiddly Inks

This month at

we're saying "Let's Be Merry" which means we want to see those holiday season creations! All you need is a Tiddly Inks image.

I decided to have some fun with this challenge and went with something a bit nontraditional.....

Tee hee! I used Sloth's Life which comes with two images, sloth sans hat and with!  Thought he'd make an excellent Christmas card for the teen boy set.

Why not grab a Tiddly Inks image, and join us for the challenge?  And be sure to  check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.

Purrs & Wags @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Purrs & Wags" which mean that she wants to see projects using house pets. So think dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, snakes, house hippos....whatever you consider a pet!

This is what I did....

I made a slider card! I love sliders. It's a Lawn Fawn die which makes 'em super easy. I am kicking myself for not masking the Too Cute on the heart on the acetate so it's revealed when the slider is pulled up. That woulda been sweet. Oh well, next time.

Why not give our challenge a go this week and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up?  And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

P.S.  If you checked out the link to the video above and were all like.....whaaaaaat??....let me tell you this....there's not a Canadian in their 40s who didn't want a house hippo when they were a kid....heck, we all still want one!
