For the next two weeks at
have we got a challenge for you. It's "Anything Goes" so the only requirement is using a Tiddly Inks image. Super duper easy!
This is what I did.....
Still on my Easter card kick. So happy that I got my hands on some 6x6 actually Easter paper. Yeah, so happy in fact that I went and almost completely covered up the paper with the bunnies on it. Really, if I didn't mention they were bunnies would you even know that there's sweet little rabbits on that paper?
I used Wryn - Some Bunny Loves You. Isn't she so sweet? And the bunnies are just adorbs too. I just love Wryn.
I'm betting you have at least one Tiddly Inks image in your stash. And, if you don't, hop (ha ha, hop!) over to grab one from the Freebie page and then go enter the challenge! And be sure to also check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.

Spring @ Melonheadz Friends
For the next two weeks at
we've got another easy challenge for you. We want to see your projects that are all about spring! And seeing as our temps here have been around -10ÂșC for the past couple of days (post was scheduled on Saturday) I could really use some spring, even if it's just crafting spring!
This is what I did.....
I used Four Seasons Lucy Doris. Lots of fabulous digis for the whole year in this one. I've linked you to the combo pack, so you can get both the black & white AND coloured in images.
I made quite the rookie move when I put this card together. Picked out the two very back background papers, cut them to size, then cut them both on the diagonal....and then I realized that I had used the exact same piece of paper twice.....that the bunnies were Side A and the carrots Size B so I could have used just the one piece. D'oh!
I know you guys wouldn't make a mistake like that 'coz you got it way more together than me so why not get in the spring spirit and then enter the challenge? And be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has made.
Also for:

Birthday Fishes - Fab Friday @ Tiddly Inks
Last Friday of March! This month went by pretty fast for me. Saw the end of my ice scheduling job until late August and the end of hockey for two of my kiddos. (The third is playing spring hockey on a tournament team, is in a 3 on 3 league, has tryouts and is attending a hockey camp. So, I've still got hockey goin' on.) Ball doesn't start until May so it's a bit slower around here for extra curriculars. No breather though as it's our business's busiest time, and my workload there at least quadruples. No complaints.....just less time for crafting!
But, I did get this project in. I'm thinking about using it as a birthday card for my daughter. Here it is.....
I used Birthday Fishes. Comes with the sentiment and an extra fishie too. Made a bit of a scene behind her....used some cork and some glitter paper. Not 100 % happy with the embossing.....it's supposed to look like sun rays coming down through the ocean....not sure if that's obvious without the explanation or not. Of course, I picked up an embossing folder that would have worked perfectly basically as soon as I got this done. Isn't that always the way?
Anyhoo, do go check out the other Fabby Friday makes the rest of the DT has come up with. You can see 'em right here.
Also for:
As You Like It: line or no lines - Lines for me. I'm too chicken to try no lines. Plus I'm not sure no lines would even work with my style of colouring.

You're a Star! @ Little Red Wagon
This week at
it's Carolyn's turn to host and she's going with "You're a Star!" which simply means that she want to see projects with stars on 'em. Lots of possibilities there!
Since it wasn't too difficult of a challenge I wanted to set a very good DT example so this is what I did.....
Digi is from Mo Manning. Made this for my hockey-loving middle one's birthday so I coloured him up in team colours. Little digi guy even shoots the same way as my son, which is cool. Actually, our whole family shoots left so he's got two thumbs up from us. Sorry, what's that Little Digi Hockey Dude? Oh, you're a Guelph Storm fan just like us too? Well, that's awesome! Don't tell Carolyn though. For some reason she cheers for the Kitchener Rangers. I know, I know. But we overlook that and we like her anyways.
Really, it doesn't matter to our challenge which hockey team you cheer for, or even if you like hockey at all. We just wanna see something with at least one star on it. So why not head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Hoppy Easter!
Of course it's not Easter quite yet. But, it's Easter cardmaking time, for me anyways. I don't like to leave thing to the last minute as that causes me to make yicky cards. So, I try to get what I need to get done well in advance.
I'm a little upset about my post title. Well, upset isn't exactly the right word....more like I'm quite disappointed in myself. I mean, really...."Hoppy Easter"? It's a pretty bland and unoriginal pun, especially for a Pun Aficionado. But, seeing as I could not think up a better sentiment for my card I'm going to punish my lack of creativity by using it as a title too.
Speaking of cards, here's mine....
(I don't know what's going on with how the colour of the ribbon looks in this photo. Fyi, it's actually a light blue colour. Might try to get a different pic of it tomorrow.) Digi was a freebie from Prairie Fairy that I've had for ages. I do love that super cute bunny. (Even if my brain does sometimes makes me see the nose as a great big smile instead. Try to unsee that now.) He really does deserve a better sentiment that "Hoppy Easter."
Sorry, Bunny.

All Tied Up @ Little Red Wagon
This week at
Tracy's up with the pick and she gone super easy on us. The challenge is "All Tied Up" which means she just wants to see some ribbon or twine or string or all of the above. Anything you can tie! (Ooooooh, maybe you could do an actual tie!)
But, that's not what I did as I just thought of that idea right this second. Oh well. I did use some ribbon and tied it into a bow though. And here it is....
Such a cute digi, eh? It's a freebie from Kinda Cute Cards. I've linked you to her freebie page so you can grab it yourself. Just be sure to leave Patricia some love if you do, 'kay? And, in a wonderful coincidence, if you scroll down once you've snapped up this freebie she's got a couple more. Guess what the next one is......yep, it's ties! Love it when neat little things like that happen.
You know you've got lots and lots of ribbon and twine in your stash so why not head on over to Little Red Wagon and enter the challenge? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

For the next two weeks at
the challenge is "All About the Boys" which simply means we want to see a masculine project (and a Tiddly Inks image too, of course).

Animals @ Melonheadz Friends
For the next two weeks at
it's another super-duper easy challenge, so no excuse not to play along! We want to see your projects featuring animals.
This is what I did.....
and not only did I do that, I did this too.....
I made it so his head could wiggle. I'll admit, it does look like he's furiously objecting to something, but it's pretty cool.
After I got all this said and done I occurred to me that I really didn't have to stick his head on another head. I mean, now it looks like I've created some strange two-headed Moose-a-Beast. But, that's kinda amoosing too, and really, that's what this card's all about.
I used the Bobbleheadz Forest Animals bundle for this. I've linked you to the combo pack, so you can get both the black & white AND coloured in images.
So why not channel your wild or domesticated or cute (or Strange if anyone else besides me remembers Gowan) animal side and then enter the challenge. And be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has made.

Baa Baa Black And Blue And Red And Green And Yellow And Mo Sheep - Fab Friday @ Tiddly Inks
Friday the 13th - ooooooooh. I bet all you with triskaidekaphobia are hiding under your beds right now. Here's a fun fact for all the scaredy (of a black one crossing your path) cats out there....I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. Ha!
But what's really great about this Friday is that it's Fabby Friday over at Tiddly Inks. And this is what I made today.....
I used Happy Baa Day to Ewe. It's a steal of a deal at $2.50. Comes with that sentiment already on it so it's all ready to go for a quick birthday make. And, don't those sheep look like they're having a blast? So much fun!
Speaking of sheep......I had one as my houseguest for a couple of days. One of my son's sheep was not a good mom so we had to take her one lamb (his twin didn't make it :-( ) and nurse it back to health. He lives in our shop now, and is doing well.
Here's Mo.......
He'll be two weeks old on Sunday.
Well, now that you've gotten your fill of sheep for the day, I'll let you go. But do go check out the other Fabby Friday makes the rest of the DT has come up with. You can see 'em here.

Cute, Cute, Cute! @ Little Red Wagon
This week at
it's my turn to choose the challenge and I picked something that's pretty darn easy for me seeing as it's my go-to style. I wanna see projects that are super-duper cute, or cute³, to get all mathy. Basically anything that'll make you say "Aw!" when you look at it.
This is what I did.....
Cutey, cute, cute image, eh? It's from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Why not head on over to Little Red Wagon and enter the challenge? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Birds of a Feather @ Little Red Wagon
This week at
Joanne's our hostess and she's saying, "Birds of A Feather" but she doesn't want to see things that stick together, ('coz if that were the case I might just post a pic of me and my bestfriend Chocolate) she wants to see makes with either a bird or birds or a feather or feathers or all of the aforementioned! (Well really, if you're gonna use a bird I do hope there's feathers on there too. A featherless bird would look pretty weird.....unless it's plopped on a plate and ready for eatin'. Then a bird with feathers would look weird. Geez, this post is turning into a mess, ain't it?)
Anyhoo, back to the task at hand! Here's my Birds of a Feather make.....
One bird and multiple feathers for me. Digi is from Bugaboo Stamps. It's hard to tell but all those polka dots on Ms. Chic Chick's hat ribbon are dotted with Crystal Stickles, so that, and the bling, make her look even more lavish than this photo alludes to. She looks like she's ready for a lovely evening on the town, unlike me, who (at the time of writing this on Tuesday evening) is in for a lovely evening of work, supper-making, laundry folding, cleaning up, snow shovelling, and tube/bottlefeeding a sickly lamb.
Somebody get me my fancy hat. I think I'm going to join Ms. Chic Chick on her escapades instead.
But hey, maybe you've got some crafting time on your hands instead of work so why not head on over to Little Red Wagon and enter the challenge? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Charming! @ Tiddly Inks
For the next two weeks at
the challenge is "Charming" which simply means we want to see a charm on your project (and a Tiddly Inks image too, of course).
When I went to make my make for this challenge I started off by routing through my stash of charms. Charms, it seems, are something I like to buy and then hardly ever use. (But, really, I could say that about every single other embellishment I buy except for maybe bling and buttons.) When I saw the one little charm in amongst some other charms I had won awhile back I knew exactly what I was gonna make. 'Coz I knew the exact Tiddly Inks image that would pair with it perfectly.
And here it is......
Digi is Bake Me Some Love. And it comes with the table separate so you can either use it or not. Whatevers you'd like.
Sentiment was a freebie from Create With Tlc. I have to admit, whenever I look at this card my brain starts singing, "It's all about the cake, 'bout the cake" Megan Trainor style. Given some stray free time I could probably come up with a whole song parody along that lines, but I ain't got no stray free time.....besides I'm betting it's already been done anyways. *quick Google search* Yep, I was right, and more than once too for that matter. Well, there goes my ticket to internet stardom I guess. *insert extremely sarcastic sigh here*
I know how charming all my readers are so I'm telling you - Go enter the challenge! And be sure to also check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.

the challenge is "Charming" which simply means we want to see a charm on your project (and a Tiddly Inks image too, of course).

Use Green @ Melonheadz Friends
For the next two weeks at
the challenge is to use green. No extra explanation needed there!
Since it is an easy challenge I wanted to go all out green. This is what I did.....
So, green grapes, green cardstock, green ink, green twine.....and with that punny sentiment I probably made you green with envy over my play-on-words prowessness - ha! Digi is from the Feelin' Fruity bundle. I've linked you to the combo pack, so you can get both the black & white AND coloured in images.
So why not pull out all that is green and enter the challenge right here. And be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has made.
