Under Pressure! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and with her last Queen inspired theme she's saying, "Under Pressure!" which means she would like to see those last minute Christmas/winter holiday makes.

This is what I did.....

I found this Santa boy (from Tiddly Inks) already all coloured up so it made for a quick card.  And, since we're down to the wire with Christmas only five days away, it was an easy way to add another card to the stash.  (:

This is what I did.....

I found a pre-stamped sheet from back in my colouring on textured paper days and decided to colour up this nutcracker (from Tim Holtz).  It seemed fitting to have my sentiment be Merry Christmas....that way I could be an extra-good DT member.  (:

Round or Square? @ Little Red Wagon

Welp, it looks like I messed up and missed a challenge theme change at Little Red Wagon.  Just gonna leave this card here though.....

This week at

it's Imke's turn to choose the challenge and she's asking, "Round or Square?" which means she would like to see circles or squares.  Easy-peasy!

Now, I love me a square card.  It's definitely my go-to shape.  So, I decided to challenge myself and make a.....

....circle card!  I do love circle cards too, I find they take more effort than square cards though.  And, there's also the fact that if you use paper with line/stipes, it's very obvious if your circle card isn't exactly straight.  *sigh*
