Three of a Kind @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Three Of a Kind" which just means that she wants to see projects with three of something.

This is what I did.....

I used a freebie from Kinda Cute Cards.  Man, I love sketchy digis.  So, for my threes, I've got three different patterned papers, three buttons and three layers.  Well, I guess one could argue that I have four layers if you count the paper pieced skirt....which I'm not.  Now, if the challenge was four of a kind then I would definitely be counting the skirt, of course.

You know....there's people out there who would claim that red & pink don't go together.  Let me just go on the record and say.....they'd be wrong.  I think red & pink look smashing together.

So why not grab your three of something and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

New Clear Stamps - Fab Friday @ Tiddly Inks

Good golly, I tell ya, I don't know where June has gone!  But, have to admit, I can't wait for July.  I'm really hoping that it's gonna go easier on me than June....I've been so ridiculously busy things are starting to slip....including my brain!  As it turns out, the image I used for my Fab Friday card....

isn't quite available yet.  Whoops.  It's part of a new clear set called Thankful Heart and I do believe you'll be able to see it in the shop soon.  So, we're going to go ahead and pretend that this was all part of a sneak peak, rather than a mistake on my part, 'kay?  That's how I've been living my life lately anyways...with an oh-yeah-I-totally-meant-to-do-that attitude.  (And that's what I'm saying about my "dirty" embossing.  Totally the look I was going for.)

I'm betting you all have "it" all under control so why not go check out the other fabulous Fabby Friday makes the rest of the DT has come up with.  You can see 'em all right here.

Love You To the Moon & Back @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Mandy's turn to choose the challenge and she saying, "Love You To the Moon & Back". Aw thanks, Mandy. We think you're really special too. :-) As you can probably guess, the challenge is all about the moon, stars and those types of celestial bodies.

This is what I did.....

I really took the challenge literally.  I've got a moon on there, along with a very complimentary sentiment.  And, I've always thought this lil astronaut from Bugaboo Stamps was having one of those "I love you this much" attitudes.  So that's fitting too.

So why not get out all your things pertaining to the night sky and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Dogs Or Cats? @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

I've got hosting duties and the challenge is "Dogs Or Cats?" which just means that we want to see a dog or cat, or both, on you project.

This is what I did.....

I decided to go with a cat.  Don't tell my dog.  Don't tell my cat either, don't want her to lord it over my dog.

I used a digi from Lori Boyd. Love her stamps.

Why not show us if you're a dog or cat person, or both, and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Move It! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Brenda's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Move It!"

Okay, sidebar. Anyone else got this stuck in their head now?

No?  Bet you do now.  You're welcome.

And, back to the challenge.  Brenda is telling us to Move It because she wants to see cards/projects that do more than just sit there and look pretty....she wants to see shakers or spinners or sliders or magic cards....or anything that'll do some moving.

This is what I did.....

As you can see, it's a spinner card.  I was planning on taking a video to show it actually spinning but that didn't happen and it's 12:37am right now and I don't think any of my kids would be happy if I woke them up to hold the camera.  Well, any two of my kids.  This is going to be my middlest's grade 8 grad card so I wouldn't get him involved because I wouldn't want to spoil it.

I'm actually quite pleased with how this turned out.  I'll admit to playing with it more than once.  I just wish it spun peeerrrrffeeeectly, kwim?  I don't like it when I have to goose it or shake it to get it going.  Still, I'm going to call it a win.

We know you like to move it (move it) so why not head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Make It Rectangle @ Tiddly Inks

This month at

we're giving you an easy challenge....we want to see your rectangular makes....using a Tiddly Inks image, of course!

Since it wasn't too difficult of a challenge I decided that I would make my card extra rectangulary....

...and I put four different rectangles on there.  (Well, actually, there's eight rectangular pieces of paper/cardstock on there but I didn't think I should be overly braggy and include the matting pieces in my count....though I suppose telling you that I'm did use eight rectangles while telling you that I wasn't going to brag about using eight rectangles really means that I am bragging about using eight rectangles.  So, that kinda backfired, didn't it?)

In addition to the rectangles, I also used an image from the Sugar and Spice Set.  This girls are a lovely gothic bunch, and there's four in the set.

So, why not get out a Tiddly Inks image, and join us for the challenge?  And be sure to  check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.
