Tiny Dancer! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and she's continuing with her Elton John songs theme and this week she's singing, "Tiny Dancer!" which means she wants to see something tiny on your project.

I like Elton John well enough, he's a brilliant entertainer/singer/songwriter for sure, my tastes are more alternative rock while he's more pop/pop-rock (at least imho).  That's why I'm gonna give myself a pass for trying to remember Tiny Dancer, and ending up combining it with a well-known Tina Turner song and head-singing "She's a tiny dancer, a dancer for money...." before figuring out that definitely wasn't right.  Although, one could argue that whole "Hold me closer, tiny dancer" fits in with that mashup pretty darn good.

Anyhoo.....here's my card....

For my tiny, I've used a tiny bow, tiny button and a tiny tag.  Tag is from LOTV and digi is a favourite of mine from Whimsie Doodles, which, very sadly, is long closed.  ):

Winter Blues! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Brenda's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Winter Blues!" which means she would like to see blue on your project.  I decided to be a keener and go for both winter and blue with this.....

I adore these fun snowman.  Stamp set is from Whimsy Stamps.  I had a bit of a happy accident with the tree.  I had originally stamped it in green but didn't like the way it looked so I stamped it again in black.  I did use my Misti, but the paper moved a bit because the stamp stuck slightly with the first stamping.  (A mark of a good quality stamp, in my opinion)  So, when I stamped the black, it was slightly off.  I really liked how it looked so I went with it.

Red Alert! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's my turn to choose the challenge and I'm going with "Red Alert!" which just means I would like to see some red on your make.

Good week for a "use red" challenge since Valentine's Day is on Friday.  That's why I made....

...a Christmas card.  Coz every year my Valentine is a bag of Zesty Cheese Dorito chips and chips don't be needing a card.  To tell the truth, I'm thinking about switching it up this year and having cake be my Valentine.  I just seem to be in the mood for cake right now.  Heck, maybe I'll do both!  Doritos for supper, cake for dessert.  The Valentine's meal of champions.  (:

Sentiment digi is from DigiStamp Boutique which has been closed for a while now.  ):  Background is made with a die and paper scraps.

Teddy Bears! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Chrissy's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Teddy Bears!" which means she'd like to see a bear, teddy or not, on your creation.

This is what I did....

Digi is from The Cat's Pajamas which has closed.  ):  The patterned paper is actually 12x12 scrapbook paper, which I don't buy unless it's from the reduced section which I then use for envelopes.  I couldn't resist the black and white colours though, so into my cart it went.
