Another Baby Card?!?! - Fab Friday @ Tiddly Inks

About a month and a half ago or so I lamented the fact that I'm sure making a lot of baby cards for someone who has left the baby stage fairly far behind.  And, here I am again, with another one!

This sweet Ellie was a past Tiddly Inks freebie and is no longer available.  Guess you'll have to visit the store to see what you can scoop up instead!

I'd like to mention I got inspiration for this card from this project by Irene.  She entered a Tiddly Inks challenge a bit ago and I just loved her idea for paper piecing Ellie.....so I did it too!

As You Like It:  old stash or new stash - Have to admit, I prefer old stash.....as you can tell from this card!  Both the patterned paper and the Thickers are ancient.  There's something about using old favourites that I really enjoy.  Plus, I practically celebrate if I actually use up stash....it doesn't happen very often, but it's not like it'll ever happen with the new stuff!

Stencil It @ Little Red Wagon

it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying "Stencil It" which means, you guessed it, she wants to see you use a stencil on your projects.

This is what I did....

LOTV had a half off digi sale last weekend so I grabbed a few of 'em.  Admired this baby for while, I'm glad I got the opportunity to add the sweetie to my stash!  As you can see, I used a stencil and added some stars to those patterned paper rectangles.  I added some flowers too.....which has nothing to do with the challenge, but - hey look!  There's, like, six flowers on my card!  That's not a normal thing around here.

All About Pumpkins @ Melonheadz Friends

I'm using a digi I won from Flat Friends.....sorry I can't provide a link, her Etsy Shop isn't open right now. I'm hoping it's just temporary, I hate when digi artists shut down, it makes me :-(. (Haha, the period at the end of the sentence actually makes it look even more like me as I have a mark there on my face. Oh wait.... >:-(. There. Had to add my perma-scowl so it looks even more realistic. Spitting image!)

Spookalicious @ Tiddly Inks

I used one of the newest digis, Halloweeny Molly. You get two images for $5.00. What a deal!  And look at her hair....perfect for all you colouring enthusiasts!  Out of my league, that's for sure, but I did what I could do anyway.

Best Witches @ Little Red Wagon

it's Donna's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Best Witches" which just means that she wants to see projects with a witch on them.

This is what I did.....

Can't really tell you where I got this digi from as I can't find a site based on the label I've got on it. If anyone knows, please leave a comment and I'll give credit to the artist.

She's an awesome witch though, isn't she?  Not too scary but not too cute either.  And the sentiment I've got paired with it....well it would probably sound more ominous if she looked more wicked.  As it is, it looks like it's more of a sentence fragment than a full sentence.  More like, "I'll get you my pretty....to help me carry in my groceries," than any serious threat.

Really, what could be more fall than Wryn's Leaves?  I cropped this digi for my card, just so you know.  The original has a whole entire pile of leaves that Wryn is frolicking in.  I just love her hair in this image.  So perfect to convey the feel of a breezy fall day.
