Bohemian Rapsody! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and she's continuing on with her Queen theme and she's saying, "Bohemian Rapsody!" which means she would like us to combine three or more elements on our makes.

This is what I did....

Let's see, I've got three hot drinks, three words, four layers, six different colours, and 472 dots.  Digi is from Stamplorations.

Why not give our challenge a go this week and join us?  And, if you'd like more inspiration, be sure to check out what the Girlfriends have made.

Let's Eat! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Brenda's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Let's Eat!" which means she wants to see food on you project.

I went a little different with this one.....

Yes, while there's definitely food on there, I don't think it's the kind you'd want to eat.  I mean, I imagine it would be tough eating, after all reindeer spend so much time training so they can pull Santa's sleigh.......hahahahaha, sorry couldn't resist doing that.  (:  Of course the food on there is the popcorn/cranberry garland.  Which, I'm also thinking you wouldn't want to eat.  Do people actually use this type of decoration or is that just in books/movies?  Can't say I've ever seen it or have done it myself.  I'm sure my two cats would appreciate it.  Both are typical cat picky eaters but they both like popcorn for some reason.  Would not put it past either one to nibble away at popcorn garland.

Garland is a digi from Melonheadz Illustrating, and reindeer are Mama Elephant.

Home Sweet Home! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's yours truly's turn to choose the challenge and I'm saying, "Home Sweet Home!" which means I want to see some kind of building on your project.

This is what I did......

You'll have to excuse this not-great photo.  We had a freak November thunderstorm last week and it took out my computer (despite it being plugged into a surge protector).  Again.  *grumble*  The info is all intact but I'm still waiting on getting a new one.  I have a laptop from work that I'm using.....but it doesn't have any photo editing software.  And, to install any new software, (or do pretty much anything) I'd have to go through the IT department, which I wasn't looking to do for one photo.  This one will have to do.  (:  (Edit to add:  Got my computer back, so I did change out the photo.  Turn out I'm not great at taking pictures of an all white card.)

Hmmmmm, looks like I forgot to pop out that one window.....let's see.  Huh.  Either it just happens to look that way in the photo or it fell out after the photo was taken coz that window is wide open now.  No fixes needed!

Thanks A Lot! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Chrissy who has hosting duties and the challenge is "Thanks A Lot!" which just means she wants to see those thank you creations.

This is what I did.....

Keep this one pretty CAS.  Image is from Graciellie Designs and (I believe) the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.  Not really much more to say than that.  (:

Hot, Hot Drinks! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

I've got hosting duties and the challenge is, "Hot, Hot Drinks!" so let's see those projects about coffee, tea, toddies, hot chocolate and all those other served-warm drinks.

This is what I did....

I used one of my most favourite digis, a Wryn from Tiddly Inks.  I think I've coloured her up for Christmas cards for at least the last five years.  As you can see, she's holding a hot chocolate, and I've got some hot drinks patterned paper going on too.

ABC Christmas:  U for use it up - The image panel is hiding the fact that the patterned paper has a large hole in the centre from a die cut.  Sentiment was cut from a scrap piece of glitter fun foam.
