Totally Teddies! @ Little Red Wagon

it's my turn to choose the challenge and I'm saying, "Totally Teddies!" which means I want to see bears on your projects....teddy or otherwise!

I think everyone recognizes James from LOTV.  I love him, I think he's adorable.  Plus, to me, he's kinda both a teddy and regular bear.....I'd certainly snuggle with him!

Tag, You're It! @ Little Red Wagon

it's Chrissy first turn as hostess and she's saying, "Tag, You're It!" which mean she would like to see you make a tag or have a tag/tags on your projects.

Now, as my long-time readers might remember, I am not a fan of tags....however, my last couple attempts have worked out okay.  But this time.....

I actually made one I like!  So, I made five of them!  And, they are tags with a smaller tag attached to them for some (hashtag) double tagging madness!  (Haha, see what I did there?)

Hot Drinks! @ Little Red Wagon

it's Imke's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Hot Drinks!".....and I think you can all guess what she wants to see on your projects.

This is what I did......

Did some paper piecing with this digi from Bugaboo Stamps.  And I was able to just colour the drink right on the patterned paper, no problem, which was a bonus.

Listen up, my friends.....well, my friends who are within the vicinity of a Tim Hortons anways.....do you want to hear about my new favourite hot drink?  Heck, why hear about it when you can try it!  Step 1: Go to a Tim Hortons.  Step 2: Order a medium white hot chocolate with a chai tea bag in it.  Step 3: Stop looking at me like I'm insane.  Step 4: Drink your drink and be prepared to have your mind blown.

Okay, I may be overselling the taste with the "mind blown" statement.  It's really, really good but not mind blowing on the taste alone.  It's mind blowing because you are probably all thinking that it sounds gross.  Like wtf, gross.  Believe me, anyone I've convinced to give it a try has responded in with the almost exact word-for-word phrase: "Oh.  That's good."  One tip though, don't get a small size or there will be too much chai taste and not enough white hot chocolate taste.  Splurge for the medium.  Or, go for the extra large if you want.....but not the large as the same sizing principle will apply since they'll use two tea bags for large teas.  I mean, go for the extra large if you want to be drinking that thing all day, that is.  Small children can bathe in the extra large Tim Hortons cups, I think.

Total Eclipse Of the Heart @ Little Red Wagon

it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (now that song is in my head but that's quite all right coz I do like that song) which just means that she wants to see projects with hearts on them.  With Valentine's Day coming up in a couple of weeks, it's very fitting. (I'm refraining from retching at the mention on Valentine's Day so not to offend those out there who actually have a romantic streak rather than the jet black emptiness I'm rocking.)

This is what I did......

As you can see, I took the "total" part of the challenge fairly seriously.  By my estimate, there's about 735 hearts on my card.  And a digi from Le Petite Market.
