Anything But a Card @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

I've got a challenge that might make you groan. (I'll admit to groaning when I see this challenge on my DT list. But, since I set it, that probably means I've already got a non-card project made, so no groaning required!) The challenge is "Anything But a Card" which is pretty durn self-explanatory. And, honestly, I don't care what kind of crafty project you enter, could be paper, could be sewing, could be photography, could be a quilt, could be an altered project or whatever! Just as long as you made it, and it's not a card, it's all good.

This is what I did.....

Made this sign for my oldest (the sheep farmer).  As you can see the vinyl was TERRIBLY full of bubbles.  After trying to smooth them out for a bit I eventually gave up decided that the sheep's wool needed to look somewhat textured and went with it.  I just love those sheep.

So, why not do something other than a card and enter the challenge? Then you can head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up.  And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

  2. This is SO fun, Janice!! I love those sheep! I'm going to have to be on the lookout for a wood sign. I want to give this idea a go too! (No sheep farmers in my family though, so I'll have to think of something else.)

  4. These sheep are just the cutest with those eyes. I never had much success with vinyl so I totally like the "texture" on the sheep and that you went with it. Hugs, my friend.

Okay, so ever since I started my blog (well, maybe not right from the get-go, it was probably a good six months or so before I realized you could change it from just "Leave your comment") I've tried to come up with something witty to type here.

*sitting with brow furrowed in concentration*...*staring at the ceiling while pursing lips*...*resting with head on hand while tapping foot*...

Nope, I still got nothing.
