it's Sandy's turn to choose the challenge and she's telling us to "Be A Good Sport" which, you guessed it, mean she wants to see project with a sports theme.
Now, I had originally planned on taking this (pretty darn good if I do say so myself) picture.....
of my middlest and doing a pocket page with it. I know, right? Not a card! And I've never done a pocket page before so, woohoo, doing something new-to-me. But when I went to get it printed out the first time there was a lineup for the photo-printing-out-machine. And when I swung by the second time there was an even longer lineup. I was going to take it somewhere else Monday but when I got home and realized I had forgot. I said "argggggg" really loud then, that's for sure. (It was "arggggg" coz there were kids in earshot. If they weren't the word would have looked at little more like this: #$%*.)
Anyhoo, maybe I'll do that for a future challenge. Still, would have been perfect for this one, eh? This is what I did instead.....
Meh. Not overly thrilled with this make. *shrug* Sometimes it just is what it is. For the record, I did take my bone folder to that white piece so it looks like carved up ice which doesn't show up in the photo. The Glossy Accents on the heart & puck don't show up either, but they're there too. Digi and sentiment are from Bugaboo Stamps.
Why not channel your inner athlete and then head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up. And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Hahahaha! Great card Jan, and funny story! Love that little hockey nut!

Well, now, I think it's great! And (of course) your paper choice is great.
ReplyDeleteThis image is so fun! Can't wait to see the pic on a pocket page, but the darling card will definitely do in the meantime.
