Wow, it's been quite some time since I posted a Fab Friday.....so it's been quite some time since I've made some sort of comment about a Friday. And......I've got nothing. Just a regular ole Friday, last one in February. Yep......
Okay, movin' on. So, here's a card.....
It's another cas one, it is. I used watercolour paper for this rather than my usual textured, but didn't do any watercolouring, just used my trusty Prismacolors. Think I'm gonna have to do that again a time or two, I quite like the look.
I used Father's Day - Vintage Truck where you get images of not only this golf bag, but an older-style truck and a sentiment ALL FOR $1.00. It doesn't get much better than that.
Make sure you go check out the other fabulous Fabby Friday makes the rest of the DT has come up with. You can see 'em all right here.
Also for:
Alphabet Challenge: Y for you choose
Moving Along With the Times: for a man
Addicted To CAS: wood - Kraft paper and wood clubs...pretty sure there 1, 3 & 5 woods in that bag. 😀
Get Creative: red + one other colour
Simon Says: anything goes
Watercooler Challenges: masculine
Jan, I really prefer reading your "nothing" compared to just the same old "Leave your comment". Left a smile on my face. I love the CAS of your card. The colours and the image are a real standard for a masculine card. I, too, like the effect of the Prismacolours on the watercolour paper. It's an unexpected look and works so well on that bag. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteFantastic masculine card, Jan! Never thought of using them on watercolor paper. I'm going to have to give that a try. Thanks for joining us this week at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fab CAS male card! Love the Kraft and the fab sentiment! You’ve coloured the image beautifully!

Now this is one handsome masculine card and one I know my male golfer friends would so love. Great colouring and design. Thanks so much for joining us in the Watercooler Wednesday Masculine anything goes challenge this week (WWC107). Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, this is just excellent. Like how the coloring/watercolor paper turned out, so by all means that's a keeper method. Love, too, the CAS look against the Kraft. I think you and I are readin' off the same page and going more and more simple. I'm not quite at CAS yet, but I'm defintely headin' in that direction. Oh, and about those dies . . . I searched on Canada Amazon with my French info and have seen that they're under these names for you BleuMoo, Scastoe, Zeroyoyo, and RameyStore. Hope that helps. They really do cut great. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a doll to you that for me....especially seeing as I'm a goober that obviously didn't look hard enough before whining! Thank you so much!! Off to check 'em out. ☺
