Boy Oh Boy @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's my turn to choose the challenge and I'm going with, "Boy Oh Boy" which just means that I would like to see projects for or about boy or men.....or just anything masculine-like.

This is what I did.....

Inside reads:  It's just another birthday.

I decided to go cas and I used Cute Cactus from Tiddly Inks, which is a great digi.....I just ended up making a Meh card with it. So Meh, in fact that after I got it all done, I took it apart so I could jazz it up.  So now it still looks Meh, but slightly less cas.  *sigh*  Sometimes it is what it is, right?  For the record though, saying that doesn't make me any less grumpy about making or posting Meh cards.

Why not give our challenge a go this week (coz I know your cards will be so much better than Meh) and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up?  And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

  1. Love the green and black together, perfect for your fun image and for a masculine feel. Couldn't figure out what that splotch was in the middle, I now realize it's your watermark. lol. hugs :)

  2. Wonderful masculine card, Jan. I like your color choice and the paper pieced flower pot.

  3. I don't find it Meh, I think it's great. Perfect for a guy! I know what you mean, though. Sometimes cards just seem to click on every note and you love them. Then, other times they don't. I have been known on occasion to just throw in the towel, cry 'Uncle', and chuck the whole thing in the bin.

  4. This is such a fun birthday wish for a guy! LOL Perhaps even for a wise guy, eh? Clever idea and a really punny card :)

  5. Your cards are never Meh! I love this image and your fab image. I would change the a few letters in one word and send it to my friends in Washington DC. Love your card Janice!

Okay, so ever since I started my blog (well, maybe not right from the get-go, it was probably a good six months or so before I realized you could change it from just "Leave your comment") I've tried to come up with something witty to type here.

*sitting with brow furrowed in concentration*...*staring at the ceiling while pursing lips*...*resting with head on hand while tapping foot*...

Nope, I still got nothing.
