Molly Month @ Tiddly Inks

This month at

we're celebrating a sweet Tiddly Ink creation - Molly! So, you just have to grab a Molly image and then you can come join us.

This is what I did.....

Molly is so sweet, isn't she?  She's perfect for all you fantastic colourists out there....with her wavy hair and her full skirt....I know you guys could make her so pretty!  Or, if you're like me, and maybe not the most awesome at wielding pencils or markers, you could do some paper piecing instead.  Because Molly's got a Christmas pudding in front of her skirt, I did two layers of paper piecing, one for her skirt, and the next one of the pudding.  I think it looks better this way than cutting the skirt around the pudding.  More realistic, kwim?  Sentiment is from Create With Tlc.

Why not grab a Molly image, and join us for the challenge?  And be sure to  check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.

Also for:

Catch the Bug:  sketch
Merry Monday:  inspirational photo - I was inspired by the sparkly stars, greenery and the table setting....perhaps they'll have Christmas pudding for dessert.  (:
Alphabet Challenge:  Y is for Your Choice
Pile It On:  circles
Christmas Cards All Year 'Round:  flowers
Winter Wonderland:  stitching
4 Crafty Chicks:  add a sentiment
As You Like It:  single or multiple layers - Multiple layers always!  How else will I be able to make a dent in all the paper I have?  I love to use lots of different patterns and colours and more than one layer is about the easiest way to do that.
Aud Sentiments:  anything goes + sentiment
Aurora Wings:  bingo - I used the vertical centre twice!  Yay me!  So glitter, die cuts, layers & yellow, pink, blue.
Dragonfly Dreams:  all that glitters
Christmas With the Cuties:  anything Christmas + cute
Shopping Our Stash:  National Dress Day

  10. Ah, now she is super cute and I love the paper piecing of the skirt. I also like the fact that this is a Christmas card, without being what you'd call traditionally colored. Christmas with some pep! Know what I mean?! Nice to see a different take on things. And as to your coloring, Girl, you got your own style, you own it, and I LOVE it!!! Bravo!!!

Okay, so ever since I started my blog (well, maybe not right from the get-go, it was probably a good six months or so before I realized you could change it from just "Leave your comment") I've tried to come up with something witty to type here.

*sitting with brow furrowed in concentration*...*staring at the ceiling while pursing lips*...*resting with head on hand while tapping foot*...

Nope, I still got nothing.
