it's Kate's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Purrs & Wags" which mean that she wants to see projects using house pets. So think dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, snakes, house hippos....whatever you consider a pet!
This is what I did....
I made a slider card! I love sliders. It's a Lawn Fawn die which makes 'em super easy. I am kicking myself for not masking the Too Cute on the heart on the acetate so it's revealed when the slider is pulled up. That woulda been sweet. Oh well, next time.
Why not give our challenge a go this week and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.
P.S. If you checked out the link to the video above and were all like.....whaaaaaat??....let me tell you this....there's not a Canadian in their 40s who didn't want a house hippo when they were a kid....heck, we all still want one!

The Sisterhood of Crafters: use stitched dies

Love the slider, but a bit disappointed you didn't use a house hippo (love the video BTW). Perfect paper for that cute little bun!

Too cute. Slider cards are amazing. And this is a great head start on next year's cards.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so first off...LOVE the slider card (so impressed, I've never done one)! And yep bunnies are a good example of a domestic animal and yours is super cute. Now, about that House Hippo video...I watched it and couldn't help thinking, 'Dang! This applies to today's political news!'. Another winner, Jan!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card!! That little bunny is adorable and your papers are just perfect!
