Things That Fly! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Doni's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying, "Things That Fly!" which, really, could be a whole bunch of things from the alive variety (birds, butterflies & bugs) to the unalive (airplanes, kites & balloons) to fantasy creatures (like fairies, unicorns or even.....)

...reindeer!  Reindeer stamps are Mama Elephant (I got them and the matching dies for an absolutely steal on clearance at Michaels some time ago) and sentiment is from Melonheadz Illustrating.

I hope all my Canadian peeps are staying safe.  (For those who don't know, as of Monday there are 424 wildfires burning across Canada, more than 250 of which are considered out of control.)  My thoughts are with all those whose lives have been affected by the fires. ♥

So, why not give our challenge a go this week and join us?  And, if you'd like more inspiration, be sure to check out what the Girlfriends have made.

  17. Super cute card, Jan! I like how you paired the reindeer with the sentiment. I'm glad you're okay. I've been thinking of you with those fires. They've even made our news. Fingers crossed for a heavy rain soon.

  19. Great idea to use the reindeer as your flying element. I've seen images of the fires on our TV, they certainly look scary, even the smoke is causing problems further afield. Thanks for layering it up at Cardz4Guyz. :)

  22. Such a fun take on the challenge! Your little reindeer are adorable and I’m wishing I’d seen the same steal at Michaels!

I’m so thankful for the rain we had yesterday! The air is much better here now and I’m hoping that things settle down for our fellow Canadians. Scary times for sure!

Okay, so ever since I started my blog (well, maybe not right from the get-go, it was probably a good six months or so before I realized you could change it from just "Leave your comment") I've tried to come up with something witty to type here.

*sitting with brow furrowed in concentration*...*staring at the ceiling while pursing lips*...*resting with head on hand while tapping foot*...

Nope, I still got nothing.
