Pinkalicious

Well, it is.

Oh! What I wouldn't give for a pair of LEFT-handed sharp, craft scissors! I have not seen any in stores though I suppose if I did an online search I could come up with something. I have left-handed scissors, but they are far from sharp and I have super sharp craft scissors "that can be used by both lefties and righties." HA! That, my friends, as any lefty knows, is a big, fat lie. (Well technically, a lefty could use the scissors, I mean, there's nothing stopping them from using them, but if a southpaw actually wanted to cut something with them, then there's a problem.)

(*The proceeding rant's only real purpose is basically just an explanation of why the ends of the ribbon are so jagged. Oh, and to garner sympathy for lefties everywhere on the plight of difficult to find scissors.*)

Digi is from Bugaboo Stamps. This card is actually on the smallish size. It measures 3.5 inches across.

  1. Hiya Jan,
Glad you came over to join us at Kaboodle Doodles! Your card is so cute.
I'm a leftie too and have never used a pair of scissors that didn't cramp my fingers, or a hair straightner that wasn't upside down, or a computer mouse comfortably, etc.....

P.S. a couple of tips that sometimes work for me when cutting ribbon with slightly blunt scissors,
    1. hold the ribbon against a thin piece of paper and cut through the ribbon and paper.
    2. Cut a forked end by halving the ribbon end.
    3. Cut through a few layers of tin foil. You may get them slightly sharper.

  13. this is so cute I will ignore your not sharp ribbon cut. You might want to check with your local locksmith (doesn't make sense, I know) sometimes they sharpen knives and scissors. I'm told that you can get a mean edge that way. I am very blessed to be right handed.
I almost forgot - thanks for playing with us at Paper Pretties.

Okay, so ever since I started my blog (well, maybe not right from the get-go, it was probably a good six months or so before I realized you could change it from just "Leave your comment") I've tried to come up with something witty to type here.

*sitting with brow furrowed in concentration*...*staring at the ceiling while pursing lips*...*resting with head on hand while tapping foot*...

Nope, I still got nothing.
